Password Policy Update - Effective November 3, 2025
Good morning HPG,
I wanted to share some important news regarding our password policies here at HPG Brands. We have recently updated our password policies to enhance security and protect our valuable data.

We plan on fully implementing the changes in this policy starting November 3rd. When the policy goes live, the following major changes will be applied:
- User accounts will be required to be changed every 365 days.
- Passwords will need to be at least 12 characters in length.
- Use of randomly generated passphrases are strongly encouraged. Employees can use the following tool to generate passphrases:
https://genphrase.com.
Most of the password and MFA policies remain the same, though, they will be more strongly enforced going forward. It is crucial that all employees familiarize themselves with our password and other cyber security policies. Additionally,
if your password does not currently meet the standards of this new policy, your password will require a reset after November 3rd.
The above applies primarily to NetSuite, Microsoft 365, and other accounts managed by HPG IT.
