4. The Host Access Code shown on this page is the code that the Organizers will join with. You can have multiple organizers, but do not widely distribute this host code, and never externally.
5. The Participant Access code is what you will give to those attending the Conference Call. You can distribute this as needed. Be sure that organizers join with the Host Access Code.
note: the Host Access and Participant Access codes never change and unless an admin forces it to due to the codes being improperly shared.
6. Enable "Include Additional dial-in numbers" to send a list of other Dial In options for those not within your local.
7. Enable "Join before host" if you want to permit participants to join a meeting before an organizer does.
8. You have the option of setting up and sending the Conference Meeting invite yourself through Outlook or utilizing the RC Phone application to setup the appointment for you. RC Phone allows you to setup the appointment via Text or Email message.
9. Click Start Conference to join the Conference Call from your computer. It is recommended that you join from the computer even if you dial in on your phone. The reason being that it is easier to manage participants from your computer.
Suggested Practices:
a. Organizers should join the conference 5-15 minutes before the scheduled start time. This will allow you to setup the conference call before it starts.
b. If it is a large group (more than 50) mute the join/exit tones. (dial *#8)
c. Mute all participants without the option to unmute themselves if you do not want interruptions while you speak. (dial *#5 twice)
d. When you are ready for participants to unmute themselves, dial *#5 when participants are not muted
