Google Chrome bad install from PDQ Connect

Issue:

Google Chrome was installed; Windows shows it listed as an installed program however you can't launch it or uninstall it.

Resolution:

Note this resolution needs to be completed by an Admin

Step 1

Download the latest Google Chrome Entrprise installer from PDQ Connect Link -> PDQ | Google Chrome Enterprise and place it on the workstation with the issue.

Step 2

Run the installer it may or may not complete properly.

Step 3

Repair the installation from Programs and Features in Windows

The Google Chrome icon will show up on desktop and the issue has been resolved.
