Polycom - Correcting a Reboot Loop on VVX-series Phones
This can happen when trying to change the admin password back to its default.
1.) Turn the phone off
2.) Turn the phone back on and when it shows "Loading Application", or "Starting Application" hit the Cancel button.
3.) Press the "Setup" within 10 seconds of the autoboot screen
4.) Enter the admin password; this can be 456, 789, or 8675309, if none of these passwords work you will have to reset the admin password first.
5.) Go to the bottom and Select "Reset to Defaults" and then click "Reset Settings" the phone will reboot
6.) Follow Steps 1-3 and Select "Reset to Defaults" and then click "Format File System" the phone will reboot
7.) Follow Steps 1-3 and Select "Provisioning Server:"
8.) Select "DHCP Menu"
9.) Set "Boot server:" to "Static" and click Exit
10.) Edit "Server type" and Select "HTTPS"
11.) Edit "Server Address" to display the correct Server; "*" will type a "." and "#" will type a "/".

12.) Select "OK", then "Exit" twice, and "Save & Reboot"
