OneDrive for Business: Add folder link to OneDrive
OneDrive offers the ability to link SharePoint and Shared Files/Folders directly into your own OneDrive folder. This makes it easier to access shared locations and ensures they remain synced across all of your devices where you have signed into OneDrive. Click the blue cloud icon in your system tray Click view online (log in if needed) On the left click on shared. You will be brought to the "shared with you" section. If someone has shared the folder with you, it will appear in this location. Select the folder and then click on "Add shortcut to my files" This will place a link to the folder in your OneDrive folder. Note that It may take a few min for the folder to appear. For Linked folders and files you will see a "link" icon on top of the normal icon. Linked items will automatically sync to the devices you have signed into OneDrive.

OneDrive for Business: Share Folders or Files to External Vendors and Customers
OneDrive for Business allows you to share folders or files with an external contact, granting them the ability to view and download files without having to deal with the hassle of email limitations. This guide will show you how to permit your external contacts view and download only capability. Upload or Place the files or folders you wish to share into your OneDrive. In Windows, go to File Explorer In File Explorer, in the left side pane, you should see a folder with your Name and the name of the company. Example: If your name is Jordan, I should see a folder named "Jordan - HPG Brands" and that folder will have Blue Cloud icon. To upload a file or folder to OneDrive, place the file or folder within this folder or subfolders It may take a few minutes to complete the upload of the file or folder. The larger and more files your are uploading, the longer it will take. Once upload is completed, you will see a green checkmark in the Status column of file explorer. You may now procede with sharing the files Right click on the file or folder you are sharing. Then hover over OneDrive and click on Copy Link In the below example, I want to share the folder BitTittan, I right click, and go to OneDrive > Copy Link OneDrive's share dialog will display, and state that the link was copied. DO NOT CLOSE this window, there are a couple more things to do. Click Settings in the OneDrive share dialog window Select "Anyone" from the list of people to share the link with. And click Apply The dialog will now state "Link Copied" and the description will state "Anyone with the link can view" Before doing anything else, open Outlook and compose a message. In the body of the message right click and select Paste This will paste the link of the shared folder or file into the email message. Note, you can also press Ctrl + V to paste the link.

Below are the step-by-step instructions for sharing OneDrive for Business folders or files with other employees in the organization using the desktop app for OneDrive. Step 1: Open OneDrive for Business Desktop App Launch the OneDrive for Business desktop app on your computer. Step 2: Locate the Folder or File to Share Navigate to the folder or file that you want to share with your colleagues. Step 3: Right-click on the Folder or File Right-click on the folder or file to reveal a dropdown menu of options. Step 4: Hover over OneDrive and Select "Copy Link" From the dropdown menu, hover of OneDrive select the "Copy Link" option. This will open a new window that will copy the sharable link to your clipboard. By default, other HPG Brands employees will be able to "View" the file. If you need to grant "Edit" permissions or limit who is able to use the link, you will need to click Settings on this window to re-configure the permitted settings. Step 5: Paste the link into a Teams or Email message Open Microsoft Teams or your Email and Paste the copied link into the body of your message. You can either Right Click and Select Paste from the drop down menu OR you can press "Ctrl + V" on your keyboard to paste the link into your message.
